If you live with children, you've probably heard the phrases "I'm bored" or "What Can I Do, I'm Bored?" many times. It is not always easy to find an activity to occupy them. Here are a few simple tips:

How to Prepare a Simple Quinoa Salad

Variations

This recipe can accompany cold meats, boiled eggs or fish. You are free to all salads are like, but I always try and ensure a good selection of colurs and texture to the salad more appetizing.

Combining a second group of salad vegetables as an alternative would, cucumbers, tomatoes, arugula and fresh grapes.

Old-Fashioned-Style Sugar-Free Lemonade

Who does not love a cool glass of refreshing lemonade, especially on hot summer days? Diabetics are always looking for drinks, not bitter, sugar, artificial flavor. Here are a few recipes that are tasty lemonade for diabetics are as good as everyone can see how their sugar intake. Both recipes are not left using Splenda granules, which must be that bitter taste found in some diet drinks.

Put berries, lemon juice and Splenda in a food processor. Process until a smooth mixture, scraping down sides.Press mixture through a sieve into a pitcher. Discard remaining solids in the sieve. Stir in water. Serve on ice.

Yield: 7 servings with 4 grams of sugar per

Our second recipe is for an old-fashioned lemonade with Splenda as a sugar.

Old-fashioned-STYLE SUGAR-FREE LEMONADE

2 / 3 cup water

1 / 2 cup Splenda granular

1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 6-8 lemons)

4 to 6 cups of cold water to taste

In a large glass measuring cup,Combination 2 / 3 cup water and Splenda. Heat in the microwave for 2 minutes on high. Remove with caution to see and microwave the mixture, whether Splenda is completely dissolved. If not, return to microwave and heat an additional 45-60 seconds. Fill a pretty large pitcher with ice. - 4 large russet potatoes

- Large bowl of ice water

- 2 liters of peanut oil

With this recipe, it's a lot of fun to experiment with different sauces on top of the cake drizzle, although my favorite is still chocolate.

Yield: 20 slices

INGREDIENTS:

1 / 2 cup butter

2Cups vanilla wafers, crushed

1 ounces white chocolate, grated

1 / 2 cup sugar, divided

5 to 8 Unzen cheese

3 tablespoons crème de cassis

1 / 8 teaspoon salt

4 large eggs 2 large egg yolks

4 oz. white chocolate, shaved

2 cups sour cream

1 teaspoon almond extract

I wanted to breakfast with Erin about a week ago, and we were not sure where to eat. After a pit stop at our local Hasidic bakery for some bread poppy, we have decided to get bagels.

Finally, we are all ideally located to live only a block away from both Fairmount or St-Viateur bagels.

I looked around and asked around, what makes the perfect bagel and lox. There are many opinions, but as far as I'm concerned, only this one: my own.

So withoutfurther ado, here's my recipe for the perfect bagel and lox.

Start with a bagel, either sesame or poppy seeds, and cut them to remain alert with a bread knife with you that the two halves of similar strength.
